Winsor & Newton Galeria Brushes Short Handle Round

Galeria brushes have been specifically designed for use with acrylic colour. The Galeria brush has been developed to be strong and resilient, whilst offering flexibility and sensitivity in use. The unique mix of synthetic filaments has been developed to provide artists with perfect control and have excellent colour carrying capacity for use with fluid colour whilst maintaining excellent shape retention. The synthetic filaments in the flats are curved, helping the brushes retain their original shape during use. Regardless of the volumes of water used in acrylics, the use of synthetic fibres ensures good shape retention particularly in comparison to traditional hogs. The short solid wood handles have a dark burgundy stained finish with five coats of lacquer which provide protection along with a smooth finish for ease of use. The Brush Heads are the same size as the Long-handled but the Short-handled allows for close-up work.
