Oil Pastels

Oil Pastels are pigment held in an oil-based binder. They can be used on paper, canvas and board and have a waxy texture. Colour can be built up in layers and, although they cannot be 'blended' in the same way as Soft Pastel, you can work colours together straight from the stick to produce graduation of fantastic colour.
