When you’re in the swing of painting, the last thing you think about is looking after the brushes! Now obviously, you wouldn’t do what Arthur has done here and leave your brushes standing in water or solvent but, even if you do, there’s a good chance they can be revived.
With a good cleaner and conditioner such as Masters, even brushes that are set hard with acrylic can be massaged back into a usable condition. I actually can’t remember the last time I threw a brush away which may explain why I now have quite a collection!
